Negative Pressure Ventilation
Negative Pressure Ventilation in Operating Rooms
Contaminants from dust and bioaerosols that are generated during dental treatments can be removed using an air filtration and ventilation system. These systems can even be combined with air disinfection using a lamp emitting ultraviolet radiation. In this way, the air is constantly purified of suspended particles and germs.
At the clinic we have installed a negative pressure ventilation system to isolate the air in each operating room. Thus, the particles produced are immediately captured and filtered. The air does not recirculate to other rooms or spaces in the clinic.
It is a very rigorous ventilation system used in hospital operating rooms.
